Why Weekly Adjustments?

Why do I recommend getting adjusted every week or every other week?  Because current research states that it takes about 10-14 days for a joint injury to sustain permanent damage if left uncorrected.  Considering there are more than 100 joints in your spine and pelvis, and they are very prone to injury from birth on, your weekly or bi-weekly adjustment is likely one of the most important things you can do to keep your body and mind working optimally.

Now we in chiropractic have seen healing in joints and other parts of the body that were deemed permanent, but why wait till there is scar tissue and joint damage?

During my early years in years in practice, I used to recommend once a month, but I found that for most people, their spines continued to degenerate.  Unless you’ve been adjusted from birth or early childhood, once a month is simply not enough.  The objective is to keep your spine and nervous system working as well as possible so your body, mind, and LIFE work better.

So get your spine checked and adjusted regularly, and please get your kids checked, too.  Don’t ignorantly think, oh, they’re fine.  Remember, chiropractic is not about pain or symptoms, but about keeping the spine as free as possible from the damaging effects of vertebral subluxation.
